Sisters

We are five sisters in a large family of eleven.  We are all carriers of Fragile X Syndrome, as are some members of our extended family.  We are united in helping to raise awareness and funds towards finding a cure.  The inspiration for F.A.C.T. is Shelley's daughter who has Fragile X and autism.  She is the light of our life and we are hoping that we'll be able to help her and other kids like her to live life to the fullest. (More pictures to come.)

Shelley Drake-Mowrey

Shelley lives in San Antonio with her husband, Mike, and her two daughters.  She is excited about helping other families find resources to help them deal with the struggles associated with Fragile X Syndrome. Shelley, Maren and CeCe all attended the 10th Fragile X Conference last year in Atlanta where they learned an enormous amount about Fragile X and met some really wonderful people.

Cecelia Drake-Cavallario

CeCe lives in San Antonio. She is in her final semester of graduate school at Texas State University for Healthcare Administration.  She has worked in health care and education for several years and plans to continue her career in the health care arena.

It's a boy!  CeCe and Dave are expecting their first child.  The new addition will be here in May and is healthy as can be!!
